An Introduction to Storytelling
A 9-hour workshop

If you are interested in storytelling, but don’t know where to start, this is the workshop for
you. This nine-hour workshop (over two Saturdays) will give complete beginners a firm
grounding in storytelling skills. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning to tell
stories: whether at work or at home, to adults or children, just for fun, or as a step towards
telling professionally.

In this workshop you will receive step-by-step guidance in learning to tell a story without
memorisation, discover how to add details to make the story uniquely yours, and learn story
rehearsal and performance techniques.

Saturday 18th February 2012 from 2pm – 5pm

and

Saturday 25th February 2012 from 10am – 5pm
